Nickel Graphite Coated Fabric Conductive Elastomer
This unique conductive material is a 65 durometer nickel coated graphite filled elastomer reinforced with an inner layer of conductive fabric. The composite can be used in EMI shielding and environmental sealing applications and is ideal for shielding applications where high tensile strength is required. The composite yields volume resistance values similar to much more expensive silver coated metal filled elastomers while its fabric layer provides some of the best physical properties seen in conductive elastomer products on the market today.
Overview
MAJR’s Nickel Graphite Coated Fabric Conductive Elastomer is a versatile material that can be custom cut into almost any configuration while providing excellent shielding with increased tensile strength and galvanic compatibility.
Products Benefits include:
- Superior Strength – Compared to other EMI/RFI shielding and sealing elastomers
- Silver Like Conductivity- Without silver pricing volatility and cost concerns
- Produced as a Continuous Roll – Up to 15 inches wide; reducing yield concerns and handling issues when compared to cutting smaller molded sheets
